Additional details on Jimmy Butler’s rumored relationship with singer and actor Selena Gomez have surfaced in the wake of the pair getting spotted together.
Butler, who had himself quite the time inside the NBA bubble, might be having just an enjoyable a period out of it and, according to an insider, has been spending time with the pop star. E! News reports Gomez is keeping her options open but has been out with the Miami Heat forward multiple times and thinks he’s “a great guy.”
The report reads:
“As the source put things, Selena is ‘keeping her options open but has been on a few dates with Jimmy and thinks he’s a great guy’.”
“They hung out a few times while Selena was in New York City,” it continues. “Jimmy asked her to go to dinner and they had a great time. It’s very casual and she’s open to seeing where things go, but isn’t settling down just yet.
“Per the source, the 28-year-old singer ‘is currently single but has recently been more open to dating.’”
Butler became a father late last year but it appears he’s no longer in a relationship with the mother of his baby girl. Should their dating bloom into something more, it would mark Selena’s first serious relationship in the last few years.
