LeBron James was disappointed the Los Angeles Lakers did not have a championship celebration in October, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

James explained why the Lakers deserved a full championship celebration.

“They don’t understand the power of a championship celebration. From the partying, one, to the parade, and then back to the partying. We have not been able to do that. And it burns me because as a champion you should feel that.

You get the locker room celebration, which is amazing. The locker room celebration is amazing, but it goes likes this [snaps his finger to express that the moment is gone in a flash].

As fast as that go you say, ‘okay, we’re gonna have the parade. We know that we’re going to have an unbelievable time at the parade celebrating with the fans and the community.

And then we’re gonna have our celebration where we go out and have fun and party and things.’ It’s just like 2020 — it’s F’d up,” James said in a recent appearance on the Road Trippin’ Podcast, via the Uninterrupted.
