Derrick Rose had nothing but good words to say about the city of Chicago and the fans of the Bulls.

Rose, a Chicago native, called the city his ‘home’.

“Every game I play back in Chi I remember, because it’s love. I loved it because the people really came out. Even when they talked s*** about me, I know it’s only basketball.

The ‘MVP’ chants were amazing. I always appreciate the love because Chi made me the man I am right now; my family is there. It’s great having that feeling of the crowd. It’s home,” Rose said in the latest edition of his autobiography, “I’ll Show You”, via Fansided.

Rose became a fan favorite in Chicago and won the 2011 NBA MVP award, becoming the youngest player in NBA history to claim the trophy.

Rose and Michael Jordan are the only two players in Bulls history to win Rookie of the Year and MVP with the team.
