Following the news that free agent small forward Jared Dudley has agreed to a one-year, $2.6 million contract to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, retired NBA Champion-turned-ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter to react to the deal:
Dudley primarily brought a veteran presence on the Lakers bench last season and figures to do so again going forward. The 35-year-old veteran averaged just 1.5 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.6 assists across 8.1 minutes per game.
