The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James hinted at a possible return of Pau Gasol to join his brother Marc. There have been rumors floating around that Pau could sign with the Lakers after his younger brother signed a two-year deal with the defending NBA champions.

Pau won back-to-back NBA titles with the Purple & Gold back in 2009 and 2010 as he led the team along with Kobe Bryant. LeBron was asked by Allie Clifton on Spectrum SportsNet “Do you think Pau is coming back?” to which James responded with “We’ll see”.

Gasol last played in the 2018-2019 season when he was with the Milwaukee Bucks. In the summer of 2019, he signed with the Portland Trail Blazers but was waived before playing any games.

There were rumors that Pau would return to his hometown team Barcelona to play one last season and retire. Though the 40-year-old veteran decided to remain a free agent. The Lakers are reportedly looking to add big men to complete their roster.
