Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to sign his supermax contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks, per Jackie MacMullan of ESPN.

“My intel is that he’s going to sign the supermax. That’s what I’ve been told, it hasn’t happened yet. But I think that’s what we’re all expecting to happen,” the NBA Insider told Bill Simmons of the Ringer.

Antetokounmpo is eligible to a five-year, supermax contract extension with the Bucks, worth $228M – $240M.

Antetokounmpo, who is the back-to-back NBA MVP, can sign the extension until December 21.
