Tyler Johnson is remaining with the Brooklyn Nets, as the team announced Friday. Terms of the deal were not released, according to the Nets.

In the season restart, Johnson recorded averages of 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 24.2 minutes per game.

Johnson signed with Brooklyn on July to help the team during the NBA season restart in Orlando. Prior to signing with the Nets, in the 2018/19 campaign, the shooting guard appeared on 31 games with the Suns.

The Fresno State product has 309 career games under his belt with the Miami Heat, the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets.

He went undrafted at the 2014 NBA Draft, but signed a two-way contract with Miami, before joining the Heat on a multi-year deal on 2015.

The combo-guard will add depth to the Brooklyn Nets’ perimeter, as he can cover both point guard and shooting guard position.
