The Dallas Mavericks star Kristaps Porzingis continues his recovery from a torn meniscus. He went out during the first round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

“I’m doing pretty good. Rehabbing, like, six days a week. I’m just focused on the rehab pretty much. I’m in a good place. Just putting the work necessary to be back on the court as soon as possible,” the Latvian forward said. “We’re taking it easy. We’re taking our time. I’m pretty much there. I can’t wait to do more stuff.”

According to Porzingis, the main goal for the Mavericks is to win a championship. “”At the end we can look at the ultimate goal which is to win a championship. That has to be our motivation each and every day that we work. It’s no secret that it’s the goal for us,” he said.

KP averaged 20.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists during 57 regular season games for the Mavericks last season. He also played 4 playoff games averaging 23.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.
