Portland Trail Blazers newly acquired big man Enes Kanter gave an interview to HoopsHype and revealed what message the Blazers leader Damian Lillard had sent to him:

“The day I got traded to Portland, Dame texted me, and he said, ‘Let’s go out there and win a championship.’ I was just super excited. I also saw CJ yesterday, and he was just very happy for me being here. But not only them, all the other guys as well. They were my ex-teammates, and they were so happy to see me come back,” said Kanter.

Kanter, 28, is rejoining with the Trail Blazers, as he played 23 regular-season games with them during the 2018-2019 NBA season, averaging 13.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.

A player from Turkey, who self-identifies as stateless, was requested to present a starting lineup with the best teammates he has ever played with, and Kanter made his top 5 list:

Point guard: Damian Lillard
Shooting guard: Russell Westbrook
Small forward: Jayson Tatum
Power forward: Kevin Durant
Center: Kristaps Porzingis
