Sacramento Kings sign Frank Kaminsky to a one-year deal

Frank Kaminsky is signing a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Kaminsky spent the last season with the Phoenix Suns.

He signed a $10 million deal that had a team option for the second season. The Suns declined that option, and Kaminsky became an unrestricted free agent.

The previous season, the sharpshooting big averaged 9.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 19.9 minutes a night, starting in 13 of his 39 games in Phoenix.

The Wisconsin product was the ninth overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft. He spent his first four seasons of his NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets.
