Short-handed Anadolu Efes knocked off Crvena Zvezda

Anadolu Efes, without Bryant Dunston, Rodrigue Beaubois, Tibor Pleiss, and Vasilije Micić knocked off Crvena Zvezda 64-75 in Belgrade, in Round 11 of the EuroLeague.

Only Vasilije Micić came with the team to Belgrade and watchedt he match against Crvena Zvezda from the sideline.

Shane Larkin had another stunning performance and was an excellent example of how players should fight for the team. Anadolu Efes led the whole game, but that didn’t stop Larkin to play excellent defense. He was all over the court and fighting for every ball.

But another player was a pivotal performer for the Turkish club. Adrien Moerman did a great job against Crvena Zvezda. He hit 5 from 6 for threes while picking up 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists.

On the other side, Jordan Loyd again had a poor shooting night. After the same problem in the game against Barcelona in the previous round, Jordan Loyd could not score in his first nine attempts against Efes.

The home team scored only 5 from 20 attempts for three, while the guests were successful 15 of 28 times (53.6%). Also, Anadolu Efes had 8 turnovers and 7 steals in the match.

The best scorer for Efes was Shane Larkin with 18 points while, it was already mentioned that, the best performer was Adrien Moerman. The French forward scored 17 points (PIR of 27). Krunoslav Simon added 11.

Corey Walden scored 14 points on the other side. The American player was the best scorer, while together with Ognjen Kuzmić were the best performers for Crvena Zvezda in the duel against Efes. Kuzmić collected 8 rebounds (6 points) and both of them had a PIR of 14. Jordan Loyd managed to finish the game with 10 points.
