The French claimed the bronze medal at the FIBA World Cup in Spain but Collet’s thoughts have already turned to Eurobasket 2015, where they will co-host the tournament along with Croatia, Germany and Latvia.
France will host one of the group stages in Montpellier and they will stage the final rounds of the tournament in Lille.
Noah hasn’t featured for France since Eurobasket 2011, when they finished runners-up to Spain. Collet hopes that he will play next year.
“I hope Joakim Noah will return to the France national team,” Collet said. “He helped us to win the silver medal at Eurobasket 2011 and I think he is now a better player. He became one of the best big men in the world.”
