According to reports, after adding Serge Ibaka and Luke Kennard the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to trade away the three-time Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams in order to create a quote, “fresh-start environment”.

The three-time Super Bowl Champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe reacts to report that the Clippers could trade combo guard Williams:

“If the Clippers are going to make a fresh start, you’ll have to get rid of the old culture. Pat Bev, Trez and Lou all bounced around and fought every single night. Now you have 2 guys come in and take nights off and that rubbed them the wrong way.”

Williams averaged 18.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game for the Clippers during the 2019-20 regular season. He shot 41.8 percent from the field, 35.2 percent from deep, and 86.1 percent from the free-throw line.
