Free agent center Hassan Whiteside has agreed to a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

It will be a one-year deal for the veteran minimum, according to Jason Jones of The Athletic.

Whiteside, 31, was drafted by the Kings in 2010 and only played 19 games for the team over the course of two seasons.

He will join Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley III as the Kings’ primary big men in the frontcourt.

In his only season with the Portland Trail Blazers last season, Whiteside averaged 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game in 67 regular season games.

After a solid regular season playing 30 minutes per game, his playing time significantly decreased once Jusuf Nurkic returned from injury in the NBA restart.

In five playoff games, Whiteside averaged 6.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
