Marc Gasol denied the reports that he was interested in returning to Spain and signing with Barcelona.
Gasol, who joined the Los Angeles Lakers, said this rumors were fake news.
“That was not accurate at all. I think somebody made that assumption…People tried to make that decision for me but I never stated that.
I never even spoke to Barcelona. That’s the world we’re living in now, you hear something and everybody runs with it,” Gasol said, via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.
Gasol agreed to a two-year, $5.25M deal with the Lakers.
