Derrick Favors, who recently signed with the Utah Jazz, knows what to expect when it comes to his playing time next season.

He said even though he hasn’t had a specific conversation with the team about it, he comes in knowing that his role will be different than the last time he played for the Jazz.

“Coming off the bench, playing maybe 24-25 minutes. I already knew what it was gonna be,” Favors said.

Favors, 29, will more than likely be the primary backup to Rudy Gobert this upcoming season, although the two big men could still share the court at times.
