According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, free-agent forward Markieff Morris is returning to the Los Angeles Lakers on an one-year contract for the veteran’s minimum.

Morris joined the Lakers in February after negotiating a buyout with the Detroit Pistons.

Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless makes a head-to-head comparison between Markieff Morris and his twin brother Marcus Morris of the Los Angeles Clippers:

Markieff Morris earned double-digit minutes in all but two of the Lakers’ 21 postseason contests, averaging 5.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 triples, and 1.0 assists per game while knocking down 42 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.

Meanwhile, Marcus Morris averaged 10.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 1.4 triples across 28.9 minutes in 19 games with the Clippers last season after being traded from the New York Knicks.
