Magic officially sign Dwayne Bacon

The Orlando Magic have officially signed swingman Dwayne Bacon, President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced.

Bacon agreed to a two-year deal with the Magic when free agency opened on Nov. 20.

The 25-year-old averaged 5.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 39 games for the Charlotte Hornets last season.

Bacon led or tied the team in scoring twice, scored in double figures 10 times and had 20-plus points three times, including a career-high 25 points on Nov. 2 against the Golden State Warriors.

He will wear No. 8 with the Magic.
