Victor Oladipo seems to already get along with the Indiana Pacers’ head coach Nate Bjorkgren. In particular, the high-flying guard has forged a strong relationship with Bjorkgren causing some teams around the NBA to abandon their pursuit on him, per Marc Berman of NY Post.

“According to sources, Oladipo is not as available as he might have been over the summer. He quickly has forged a strong relationship with Pacers new coach Nate Bjorkgren, but the 2019 All-Star is in the final year of his contract.”

Oladipo will be an unrestricted free agent the next summer and he is going to be able to sign with any NBA team. During the 2019-20 season, Oladipo only appeared in 19 games since he spent most of the season rehabbing the knee injury he suffered in 2018-19 season.

He put up 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 39.4 percent from the field and 31.7 percent from three-point range.

Among the teams seem to be interested in the two-time All-Star is the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat. After a disappointing first round exit, the Pacers hired Bjorkgren to replace Nate McMillan in August.
