The Los Angeles Lakers have traded big man JaVale McGee to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports, McGee will join Cleveland and the Lakers will receive a future second-round pick.
The Lakers sent McGee to the Cavs in order to have the essential cap flexibility to sign Marc Gasol.
The 32-year-old was a fine piece off the bench for the 2019-20 NBA Champions, averaging 6.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in 69 games.
