The Minnesota Timberwolves retained their second restricting free agent Juancho Hernangomez on a three-year, $21 million deal, according to Shams Charania.

The third year in the Spaniard’s deal will be a team option. Hernangomez came to the Wolves in a four-team trade before the deadline in February that also landed Malik Beasley to the Wolves.

Beasley, also a free agent this offseason, re-joined the Wolves on a four-year, $60 million deal. Hernangomez averaged 12.9 points and 7.3 rebounds in 14 games with the Wolves after the trade.
