Free agent forward Christian Wood has agreed to a three-year, $41 million deal with the Houston Rockets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal is expected to he completed with a sign-and-trade via the Detroit Pistons.

A report first came out that Wood was signing with the Rockets on a three-year, $27 million deal, so it’s a significant increase.

Last season, Wood, 25, averaged 13.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game, but then averaged 22.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game over his final 13 games after the Pistons traded Andre Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Wood was one of the most coveted players on this year’s free agent market.
