Sacramento Kings young star De’Aaron Fox has agreed to a five-year, $163 million maximum extension, according to Shams Charania.

The deal reportedly includes a clause to reach the $195.6 million super max.

His new deal will go into effect for the 2021-2022 NBA season, as Fox will play out the last year of his rookie contract this upcoming season.

Fox, 22, becomes the first maximum contract of the 2020 NBA free agency.

Last season, Fox averaged 21.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
