Gordon Hayward has decided to opt out of his contract with the Boston Celtics and become a free agent.
Hayward had a player option worth $34.2M for the 2020/21 season, yet he declined it and will enter free agency on Friday, November 20.
Hayward spent the past three years with Boston. He is now expected to receive significant interest from several NBA teams.
