LaMelo Ball going to Charlotte Hornets is ‘a match made in hoop heaven’, says Skip Bayless

LaMelo Ball, who was considered a potential number one pick in this year’s NBA Draft, was picked third by the Charlotte Hornets, a team owned by Michael Jordan.

The youngest of the Ball brothers was excited to be selected by Jordan’s team. “Straight blessing,” LaMelo said afterwards.

Yesterday, sports analyst Skip Bayless said Melo is not born to be the number one pick because he, like his brother Lonzo, lacks urgency.

After Melo went third to the Hornets, Bayless thought it was the best possible fit for him because of Jordan. “I love this fit. This for me was a match made in hoop heaven. LaMelo + MJ. I was joyful, I think Jordan will instill some of the proper intangibles in him,” he said on UNDISPUTED.
