Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob wants to see someone who could offer physicality and athleticism join his team either via the NBA Draft or trade. The Warriors have the No.2 pick for Wednesday’s affair and, speaking ahead of the Draft, Lacob opened up on what he feels the Dubs need.

“We do need more size and athleticism in general,” he said on Wednesday’s episode of First Take (H/T Yahoo Sports). “So I think that would be something that we would like to have. If you watch the Lakers, they’re pretty darn physical. We need physicality and athleticism.

“But the truth is we’re gonna take the best player that we can. We’ll see who that is.”

The owner also discussed the possibility of trading the Warriors’ No.2 selection.

“We only need to like two players with the No.2 pick – and we do like at least two players – we’re likely to take that player,” he noted. “We of course could entertain a trade if it benefited our team.”

The Warriors are reported to be in talks over a trade for their pick with the Chicago Bulls.
