As reported by SNY, the New York Knicks should consider signing Fred VanVleet in free agency.
VanVleet is probably the best player available in free agency. The Raptors player played another season at a high level. His parameters are increasing: more minutes of play, his shooting efficiency, and assists have increased as well as defense in the same style with which we know him.
VanVleet is not a natural point guard, but he could certainly be the best in the future of the Knicks, considering also his age, 26 years, and the wide margins he has for improvement.
It remains to be seen if the Knicks will be ready to offer more than $20 million a year to VanVleet.
