The Milwaukee Bucks are landing Bogdan Bogdanovic from the Sacramento Kings in a sign-and-trade deal once free agency opens, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Bucks will send Donte DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova and D.J. Wilson to the Kings, while the Kings will send Justin James to the Bucks.

Bucks general manager Jon Horst has reshaped the team’s roster in the matter of a few hours, acquiring Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans and now Bogdanovic.

Giannis Antetokounmpo wanted to see some improvements in the roster and it appears that the franchise has delivered for him after the two sides had a postseason meeting.

Bogdanovic, 28, arguably had the best season of his three-year NBA career, as he averaged 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steal per game last season.

The Bucks are now looking at a starting lineup of Holiday, Bogdanovic, Khris Middleton, Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez for the 2020-2021 NBA season.

DiVincenzo, the most notable trade piece heading to the Kings in the deal, will join a young and talented group of players that features De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III and Buddy Hield.

With Bogdanovic headed to the Bucks, Hield could have been promoted back into the team’s starting lineup.

Bogdanovic originally replaced Hield in the starting lineup back in January.
