Kris Dunn may be good as gone from the Chicago Bulls, as the team is not expected to issue a qualifying offer for him, per K.C. Johnson of NBCS Chicago.

As a result, the defensive specialist will be an unrestricted free agent in the upcoming moratorium. Johnson reports that several teams could have interest in Dunn, with the Los Angeles Clippers being among the suitors.

The L.A. franchise is searching for a starting caliber guard, after getting eliminated in the second round of the 2020 NBA playoffs by the Denver Nuggets and failing to compete for the title.

Dunn was part of Jimmy Butler’s blockbuster trade that got him in Minnesota back in 2017. The Timberwolves gave up Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine along with Dunn in exchange for the veteran superstar.
