The Los Angeles Lakers have placed the 2020 NBA championship banner at their practice facility in California.
The Lakers won the title in October, after defeating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals (4-2).
This was the 17th NBA championship for the Lakers, who are now tied with the Boston Celtics for most in NBA history.
The Lakers are entering the 2020/21 as the favorite to make the repeat. The team managed to acquire Dennis Schroder via trade, while NBA superstar Anthony Davis is expected to sign a new deal in free agency and remain with the defending champions long term.
