Milwaukee Bucks’ veteran Wesley Matthews is going to be a free agent, after declining his $2.7 million player option for the 2020-21 season, per Shams Charania.

Matthews could find a better deal in the free agent market, as several teams are looking to add him to their roster, with the Lakers being among the suitors.

The 12-year veteran signed with the Milwaukee Bucks last season, being a regular rotational piece in the regular season’s top-seeded team.

He averaged 7.4 points on 36% shooting from the three-point line. In the past 11 seasons, Matthews played for various NBA teams, including Utah, Portland, Dallas and Indiana.
