Goran Dragic opened up about the foot injury he suffered in Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dragic was forced to miss four games and returned in Game 6, which was the final one of the season, as the Lakers won the series and the title.

“It was really tough, I wanted to be out there. I was dreaming as a kid to be in the Finals and unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance or at least the ability to play how I would play. I was doing everything I can to come back and I did but that was not it. The pain was still huge.

I feel good. No more pain. I can move freely, I can run and everything, so, it’s behind me,” Dragic told Shams Charania of The Athletic, via Eurohoops.net.

Dragic now is a free agent and is hopeful he will agree to a new deal with the Miami Heat.
