James Wiseman and Karl-Anthony Towns can play together, says the former assistant and interim head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves Sam Mitchell.

Mitchell believes Wiseman fits with the Timberwolves and can create a great duo with Towns, comparing them to the San Antonio Spurs’ legendary duo of Tim Duncan and David Robinson.

Wiseman, who averaged 19.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks in three appearances with the Memphis Tigers, is expected to be a Top-3 pick in the upcoming Draft.

For its part, Minnesota has the No.1 in the 2020 NBA Draft, which will take place this Wednesday, November 18.
