Fred VanVleet made an interesting statement about the 2019 NBA title he won with the Toronto Raptors.

VanVleet said winning the championship against the Golden State Warriors was not the toughest achievement of his career.

“Basketball wise not even close, but like mentally and physically, yes for sure,” VanVleet told JJ Redick during his appearance on the “Old Man and the Three” podcast.

VanVleet and the Raptors defeated the Warriors in six games (4-2) and claimed their first-ever NBA title. Golden State missed both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson during the series, due to injuries.
