The Los Angeles Lakers may have their eyes on a combo guard this season with Nico Mannion being among the candidates to get picked late in the first round.

The former Arizona guard worked out for the Lakers with general manager Rob Pelinka being in attendance, per Brad Turner.

Mannion averaged 14.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest last season with Arizona. The Lakers could pick him with the 28th overall pick if he’s available until then.

A highly touted five-star High-School recruit, Mannion is pretty capable of creating his own shot, especially from the mid-range.

In a potential role with the Lakers in the future, Mannion could definitely bring a spark coming off the bench.
