Maccabi blows past Zalgiris; puts an end to two-game losing streak

Maccabi Tel-Aviv was dominant against Zalgiris Kaunas to claim an easy 85-57 win over Martin Schiller’s team. The Israelis put an end to a two-game losing streak to improve their record to 3-5.

The second quarter was pivotal for the winning side, as they made a 29-9 run to finish the first half with a 30-point lead (53-23).

The EuroLeague powerhouse had five players in double-digits with Tyler Dorsey scoring a game-high 16 points.

Chris Jones followed with 15, while Dragan Bender added 11. Thomas Walkup led the effort for Zalgiris with 11 points.

The Lithuanians dropped to 5-3 with their third loss in the last four games.
