Danny Ainge is not sure whether Boston Celtics star Kemba Walker will be ready for the start of the training camp on December 1st.

The Celtics GM and president of basketball operations said the team should make Walker’s health their ‘number one priority’.

Walker has been dealing with a knee injury since the start of the 2019/20 season and the Celtics’ medical staff has been very careful with his rehabilitation.

Walker played in the season restart in Orlando and he was expected to be fully ready for the start of the new season on December 22.

Given Ainge’s comments, though, his status for the training camp and the start of the season remains unknown.
