Daryl Morey made an interesting statement regarding the superstar of the Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid.
The new president of basketball operations of the team believes Embiid can become one of the best big men in the history of the NBA.
“Joel is similar to a lot of dominant big men of the past and I think he frankly has the talent level to be in the list of some of the best of all time,” Morey said, via John Clark of NBC Philadelphia.
Embiid averaged 23.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, three assists and 1.3 blocks for the Sixers last season.
With Doc Rivers as the new head coach and Embiid and Ben Simmons remaining with the team, Philadelphia is expected to be a top title contender next season.
