Jarrett Allen is expected to seek for a lucrative contract extension with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.

As revealed by Nets GM, Sean Marks, Allen will be seeking for a deal close to $90M.

“He’s looking for a Clint Capela-type of money,” Marks said of Allen’s possible asking price in an appearance on the Hoop Collective podcast with ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, via SB Nation.

Allen is under contract with Brooklyn until the end of the 2021/22 season, but he is eligible to an extension this season.

Allen averaged 15.7 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the Nets last season.
