Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum had to clear the air after a selfie of someone bearing stark resemblance surfaced online. The male in the photo was shown in bed with a sleeping woman apparently completely unaware she was being advertised.
The NBA guard caught wind of it all after fans began tagging him in said photo and admitted he had to zoom in, suggesting he wasn’t quite sure the male in question wasn’t him at first glance.
CJ took this in stride and made the best out the situation, although he was never in any real danger despite the resemblance.
The 29-year-old star has been brought up in trade rumors involving the Boston Celtics, with Gordon Hayward being tipped as the one who could be going the other way. But former NBA player Channing Frye is of the view that the Celtics would have to give up both Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart to land a player of McCollum’s quality.
