Former NBA champion and current analyst Kendrick Perkins made a bold prediction about the roster changes for the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the next season.
According to him, the reigning NBA champions will part ways with point guard Rajono Rondo and will replace him with All-Star Chris Paul.
Rondo, who won his second championship with the Lakers, has already been linked with the city rivals Clippers. Meanwhile, Paul has said he would like to continue his career with either the Lakers or the Knicks.
“To be honest, I think the Lakers are gonna lose Rondo. I really do. I think the Lakers are going to land Chris Paul. I think Rondo is gonna be with the Clippers. And I think y’all gonna lose Playoff Rondo. That’s the guy I think that y’all are gonna lose,” Perkins said on Sedano & LZ.
