One day before their game against Maccabi Tel Aviv for the Round 7 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Anadolu Efes announced a positive for COVID-19 case within the team. The club did not mention the name of the player but stated that the person is well, staying in isolation.
For their game against Maccabi, Efes will be missing Bryant Dunston, Shane Larkin and Sertac Sanli, per Ismail Senol. On the contrary, the presence of Tibor Pleiss will be decided at the very last moment.
