The Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Karl-Anthony Towns opened up about his mother, Jacqueline Towns, who passed away due to coronavirus’ complications.
In a heartfelt video titled “The Toughest Year of My Life”, the two-time All-Star center talked about the tragic passing of his beloved mother.
Jacqueline Towns died on April 13 due to complications from COVID-19. The Timberwolves released a statement at the time, saying she “had been battling the virus for more than a month” before she died.
The Wolves’ center explained in the video that she seemed to get better in the third week, after she diagnosed with the virus.
However, she suffered a stroke during the night with the doctors saying she would not be able to have a meaningful life in the aftermath.
