The NBA has informed its 30 teams that they can open practice facilities for group practices, workouts and scrimmages with up to 10 players, according to Shams Charania.

NBA players must be tested for coronavirus every day and return a negative test each time to be allowed to participate in their offseason workouts at team facilities, notes Adrian Wojnarowski.

The eight teams that didn’t participate in the NBA restart in Orlando got a two-week window for group activities last month.

With the 2020-2021 NBA season set to start in either December or January, teams will be reporting to training camps soon, so the league wanted to give teams the chance for some practice time before then.

It’s unclear if the league’s coronavirus protocols will remain the same, as anyone entering a practice facility has been required to undergo a temperature check before entering the building and wear a mask when not on the court.
