Shane Battier could be on his way to join Daryl Morey in the front office of the Philadelphia 76ers, per Tom Haberstroh of NBC Sports.
Battier, a two-time NBA champion, is currently working as VP of Basketball Development and Analytics for the Miami Heat since 2017.
Battier is also close friends with both Morey and Sixers GM Elton Brand.
For his part, Morey will sign a multi-year contract with Philadelphia and will take over the basketball operations.
