Walt Disney Studios is making a movie titled Greek Freak, based on two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family’s story.
Disney is in the process of searching for actors to play Giannis and his brother Thanasis in their younger days.
No acting experience is necessary, but it helps to look like the Antetokounmpo brothers and have some basketball experience, according to a tweet from Giannis.
“The story recounts their rise, with the help of their family, from undocumented Nigerian immigrants living in Greece to basketball superstars in America,” per Cast It Talent.
Greek Freak currently has no official release date, as production on the film will begin in 2021 in Antetokounmpo’s native Greece and other locations in the United States.
