The Golden State Warriors seem to check all the potential scenarios for the draft night with Ian Begley of SNY offering a new perspective on how they are going to use the No.2 pick.

According to Begley, who joined Chris Williamson on “The Putback”, the Warriors are in ‘close contact with several mid-lottery prospects’ indicating the possibility of trading down for the Bay Area franchise.

Golden State has at its disposal the No.2 overall pick.

“I also know that they have been in close contact with players that are projected more towards eighth to [No. 10], in that range,” Begley said. “They are doing their homework on those guys that are lower in the draft, and potentially looking to trade in those spots.”

It’s not surprising that the Warriors are looking all the potential possibilities with no prospects being a clear-cut consensus NBA superstar, at least for now.
