Bradley Beal shared his thoughts on the possibility of the NBA starting the new season in late December.

Beal said he was ‘surprised’ the league is planning to start the new season on December 22.

“Definitely surprised because I was under the impression that we won’t start till February, looking at March probably as the legit start date.

It definitely changes my routine and how I am working out. But I think the monetary impact is what the board of governors is looking at,” Beal said during his appearance on JJ Redick’s podcast.

Several players, though, want the new season to start on January 18 in order to have more time to rest.
