The Miami Heat have no plans to trade Bam Adebayo in the offseason and let him leave the team.

The big man of the Heat, who is coming off the best season of his career, will enter the final year of his current contract.

“Adebayo is pretty much off the board. A league source tells The Athletic that the Heat “would hang the phone up with F-bombs ringing through the disconnected call” if someone demanded Adebayo in a deal,” Zach Harper of The Athletic reports.

For its part, Miami is trying to have as much cap space as possible available for the 2021 offseason in order to chase Giannis Antetokounmpo, if the “Greek Freak” becomes a free agent.

Therefore, it is still unclear if they will offer a contract extension to Adebayo before the end of his current contract.
