Nick Nurse opened up about the performance of the Toronto Raptors in the Orlando “bubble”.

The head coach of the Raptors said his team could have played better, but admitted he ‘would not have done many things different’.

“We had a long playoff run. We did not quite get there (reaching the NBA Finals) this year. It really went down to one possession. I don’t think we played maybe as good as we could.

I don’t want to discredit how well Boston played. They were good, the teams were very similar in the series. There are not much I would have done different.

I think a couple of our players did not play to their capabilities. I think we were ok, basketball-wise, coach-wise,” Nurse told Fran Fraschilla during his appearance on the World of Basketball podcast.

The Raptors could not successfully defend their title, as they lost to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
